About Us

PRE-TEC is a division born from the resourcefulness of our parent company. More than twenty years ago, when Willamette Valley Company needed an easy-to-use, accurate means of metering chemical products, it couldn't be found. As a result, Willamette Valley Company hired people to solve this dilemma and formed the equipment division. These individuals had the ingenuity to combine solid metering design and production practicality with long-term reliability. That was the beginning of our team.

These talented professionals were not satisfied with solving just one problem, but went on successfully to engineer a wide variety of metering systems ranging from small-shot applicators to systems that handle 100,000+ cps spray coatings.

In the Mid 1990's, the Willamette Valley Company Equipment Division became Precision Technologies, and Precision Technologies became PRE-TEC in 2009. By the late 1990's, the PRE-TEC team further diversified by creating the Automation and Robotics Integration Group. Over the last decade, this well accomplished group has prepared over 150 robotic systems for industry. PRE-TEC is currently the largest custom robotic integrator on the West Coast.

Although PRE-TEC is primarily known in the Western United States & Canada, our systems have been installed across North America. This division is also a strategic partner with three key robotic manufacturers (ABB, Fanuc, and Motoman) and can provide flexible, automated solutions for a broad array of industries.

Today PRE-TEC continues the problem solving tradition by producing custom precision solutions for other companies' manufacturing challenges. We have developed into a well known, broad-spectrum equipment manufacturing and integration company.
