We are currently seeking experienced personnel to fill the following positions:

 
MECHANICAL ENGINEER – DESIGNER

The selected applicant will be responsible for the project outline and design production. The engineer will give support to production groups and oversee production, technical support, and project documentation.

  • Engineering Degree, and 5+ years of experience designing robotic solutions for general manufacturing applications.
  • Define project requirements, produce the engineering design (drawing specifications), communicate and correspond with customers, monitor project schedule.
  • Work and design in a team environment to verify concepts and robot system feasibility.
  • Experiences with conceptualization, Solid Works, 3D simulations, bills of material, sheet metal, and machine design.
  • Job scope includes coordinating system run-offs at PRE-TEC’s facility and directing system installs and start-ups at the customer facilities.
  • Availability to travel throughout North America, and internationally.

ROBOTIC ENGINEER

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for robotic programming, system integration, and customer runoffs. The selected applicant will also assist with installation at customer locations and conduct field service, as required.

  • Robotic programming experience of 5+ years with Fanuc and/or Motoman for system integration.
  • Experience setting-up and building robotic systems, which use vision, force sensing, programmable controllers, electronics circuits, mechanics, sensor, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
  • Equipped to work and program in a team environment in order to verify system integration solutions, facilitate factory runoffs, and participate on installation at customer locations.
  • Experiences with conceptualization, Solid Works, 3D simulations, bills of material, sheet metal, and machine design.
  • Assist and interface with mechanical/electrical engineering group during development of robotic systems in order to help with the design and develop of control systems.
  • Conduct field service, travel throughout North America and internationally, as needed.
